Branning Street

  Russell and Mary Hall were married June 25th, 1983. They were both born again on January 10, 1987. God miraculously and gloriously delivered them from drug and alcohol addiction and has been using them ever since to preach the Good News of Jesus Christ everywhere they go! They were youth leaders and Bible quiz coaches at the Hubbard Nazarene Church for 10 years and served on the Board for 6 years, were on the Missions Committee, led youth prayer gatherings, and much more while they served at the Nazarene church. God shifted them to Fifth Avenue Community Church in 1998. Mary became the receptionist at the church and was called by God to start a Freedom From Addiction Recovery Group in 2000, which still goes on today. God then called them to serve as overseers and pastors of the church in November 2006. Mary has had her Ministers District Licensee since July 2002. The call to preach the Gospel is also strong in Russell's heart as well.  He is at this time getting his licensee to become a Foursquare minister. Their desire is to see captives set free, healed and delivered! "The spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to preach good tidings to the poor, He has sent me to heal the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and the opening of the prison doors to those who are bound." Isaiah 61:1

     Branning Street is the youth leader at Fifth Avenue Community Church. Branning loves Jesus with all of his heart and is excited to see what the Lord has in store for him. He has always had a heart for working with young people. He has had experience organizing and running high school and college bible studies and Christian fellowship organizations. He grew up in Vienna, Ohio and graduated from Thiel College in 2006 with degrees in Elementary Education and English Secondary Education.  Branning's favorite bible verse is Psalm 3:3:

             But thou, O LORD, are a shield for me; my glory and the
             lifter up of my head.

     It is a powerful verse that shows that Jesus is our protection, our happiness, and our strength to endure anything! Branning's ministry at Fifth Avenue includes times of learning through prayer and Bible study, fellowship through meeting new friends, and awesome fun through games and activities.
